So I’m back in NZ, i sure didn’t plan on being back so soon but thats another story. So I’m on the hunt for a notch back Levin. Running and ready to hit the track. Can’t be bothered with building another car from the start, other than just maintenance stuff.
Super charged 4 age, Yeah boy!
Stumbled on this photo this afternoon. Kinda miss this car.
Sorry I’ve been so quite. Been super busy finding a job and haven’t always had Internet, which has made it hard. Still no luck with finding full time employment at the moment, although I’m working on a few possibilities. Anyway a few pictures of my travels so far. Sorry about the quality as they are off my phone.
Down the coast from Italy to Nice in France. On board M/Y Sanoo

I really want to build a notch ae86 When i finally return home.
and a photo early in the morning, on my way to work, La Ciotat France
Today the 81 met its new owner. Its off to New Plymouth to live another day. Its going to get a 2jz put between the strut towers. Had some good times with this car!
Well in 6 weeks I’m leaving good old NZ for a few years. France here I come to work on super yachts. So as far as car related stuff goes from me. I cant imagine there will be a whole lot of posts. I would like to think ill come back home and build another car maybe give d1 ago in a jzx100! In time i guess we will find out.
Most of the jzx81 is now gone. It has been parted out, so will live on in other cars. Still have a few bits if anyone is keen. Sad to see it go but I’ve had one hell of a good time with it. Learning new skills meeting new friends its been awesome. Although all good things must come to an end to make way for new adventures.
Spent a few hours over the weekend working in the 81. Didn’t feel like i achieved as much as i wanted. Put the Excedy hyper single clutch on, motor and box in and out of the car three times.
Had a difficult time trying to get the new r154 box in the tunnel. The tunnel ended up needing a fair amount of beating in order to get it fitting rite. Also had to cut out part of the gearbox tunnel to fit in the remote shift.
Gearbox x-member worked out mint with next to no modifying need. Managed to sort the intercooler piping out as well. Although im changing all the silcon joiners from that shitty blue to black.
sorry shitty photos, i know.
